NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) – The 400 block of Broadway in downtown will be closed for much of the week because of the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Fan Festival.

“Swimville,” a 160-foot long tent, was set up over the weekend.

Sports Illustrated and the Nashville Convention & Visitors Corp. is hosting two days of fan events and live music in celebration of the 2015 SI Swimsuit Launch.

Fans can bring their copy of the highly coveted Swimsuit Issue to have it autographed by the magazine’s models.

Nashville rockers Kings of Leon will headline the event, performing live at the Schermerhorn Symphony Center on Wednesday night.

The fan festival is the first of its kind, stopping in New York on Monday and Tuesday, followed by Nashville on Wednesday and Thursday.

On Tuesday, the closure began with Broadway between Third and Fifth avenues, and Fourth Avenue South between Demonbreun Street and Broadway.

On Wednesday and Thursday, Fourth Avenue will be closed from 6 a.m. until 6 p.m. between Commerce and Demonbreun streets.
