CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) – A Clarksville man who was arrested for theft on Friday is facing more charges after a jail worker found a crack pipe in his rectum.
According to The Leaf-Chronicle, officers responded to a theft call at the Fort Campbell Boulevard Walmart just before 6:30 p.m.
They found Johny Nunn past the point of sale with items stuffed in his pants and pockets that he hadn’t paid for, the newspaper stated.
Nunn had previously been charged with shoplifting at the same location twice in 2014 and was barred from the store.
As Nunn, 26, arrived at the Montgomery County Jail, an officer asked him if he had any drugs, paraphernalia or weapons.
“Give them to me now before taking it into jail and getting a felony charge,” Officer Brandan Hendricks said.
Nunn told Hendricks he didn’t have anything but when deputies at the jail searched him they found a burnt glass pipe with drug residue in his rectum.
Nunn has been charged with criminal trespassing and possession of contraband in a penal institution.
His bond was set at $25,250.
