Police search for 2 burglary, robbery suspects in Edgehill community

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) – Metro police is asking for the public’s help in identifying two men who may have been involved in two burglaries and a robbery in the Edgehill community of Nashville.

The duo is suspected of burglarizing two homes in the 1000 block of 15th Avenue South. One on Jan. 15 and another on Feb. 3.

Additionally, the two are believed to have robbed a woman of her purse at gunpoint in the 1200 block of Villa Place on Jan 30. The victim told police she was walking home from Edgehill Cafe with a friend around 2:30 p.m. when the man pulled a gun on her.

“It is scary,” said Janie Townsend, who lives down the street.

Surveillance pictures show a man wearing a bright red hooded jacket on a bike and another man wearing a dark hooded jacket walking next to him.

Anyone recognizing the suspects is urged to contact Nashville Crime Stoppers at 615-74-CRIME.
