NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) – Metro police have launched an investigation after a man showed up at an Antioch Starbucks with a gunshot wound.
It happened Saturday afternoon at the coffee shop on 5253 Hickory Hollow Parkway.
Authorities told News 2 the victim walked up to Starbucks patrons and told them he had been shot in his chest and leg.
He was transported to Vanderbilt University Medical Center where he was listed in stable condition. His injuries do not appear to be life-threatening.
Officials said the victim had a .22 pistol that is now in their possession. They went on to say the man was not cooperating with officers.
Police canvased the area and located a witness at the Citi Trends clothing store near the mall, which is possibly where the shooting took place.
No crime scene has been located, but the investigation into the shooting is ongoing.
