BURNS, Tenn. (WKRN) – Authorities say a woman found dead inside a car at Montgomery Bell State Park last month may have died two months before she was discovered.
Valerie Bodeau was found in the backseat of her 2006 Lexus on Jan. 23 after a maintenance worker became suspicious after the vehicle remained in the parking lot for two months.
During the course of the investigation, it was discovered the 50-year-old woman had been a guest at Montgomery Bell Inn during June 2014 and stayed at the Nashville Union Rescue Mission in early October.
Authorities said they believe Bodeau was living out of her car at the time of her death.
Final autopsy results are pending but foul play is not suspected.
The investigation is ongoing.
