NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) – The latest models runs (Monday morning) are still forecasting a snow chance for later this week, but as usual, there are some changes.
The GFS and the ECMWF models both continue to show an arctic front pushing into Middle TN, while a Gulf low develops and moves east.
BUT both models keep the Gulf moisture detached from the front. This would mean lower amounts than if the Gulf Low brought its moisture into Middle TN.
HOWEVER, both models indicate that the front itself brings some moisture with it.
Based on that, we could see a dusting up to an inch in Nashville and most of Middle TN, with a little more eastern counties. That still qualifies as snow, but the Gulf moisture would bring quite a bit more! This could still change, so we’ll Keep you posted!
