MICHIGAN (WKRN) – A 4-year-old Michigan girl quickly called 911 after her pregnant mother suffered a seizure last week.
While on the phone with 911 dispatchers, Calise Manning says, “Somehow she fell and I went to see what happened.”
During the nearly eight minute 911 call, ABC News reported the little girl stayed calm and told the operator her family’s address, the color of their house and that her mom was pregnant.
Calise’s mother, Centerria, suffers from epilepsy. She said she has been working with her daughter since she was 2 years old to prepare her in the event she suffered a seizure in her presence.
Centerria told WSB-TV the only thing she remembers is waking up and seeing her daughter standing over her.
“She said, I told you I was going to take care of you if something happened,” Centerria recalled.
Calise rode to the hospital with her mother in the ambulance.
“It was really good to ride in the ambulance with mom. She was really proud of me,” she said.
Calise’s mother has since given birth to a healthy baby boy named TJ.
