Police arrest 22-year-old wanted in fatal Clarksville shooting

Clarksville police arrested a wanted man for a fatal shooting that happened last week.

Timothy Shoffner, 22, was wanted for his alleged direct involvement in the shooting on Lansinger Lane in Clarksville last Tuesday.

Montrel Patterson, 22, was killed, and three others—Lisa Downs, 27, Donald Johnson, 23, and Sherri Downs-Tipton, 48—were all injured.

Police didn’t elaborate on Shoffner’s involvement, nor did they say if he would be charged.

He was taken into custody at the Walmart on Fort Campbell Boulevard on Sunday. Further details weren’t released.
