KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) – Butch Jones second blockbuster recruiting class took a hit Wednesday with the loss of Florida defensive end Marques Ford.
Ford announced on Twitter that he was no longer committed to Tennessee and was opening his recruitment back up.
The 6 foot 4, 230-pounder is ranked as high as a four-star player and just visited Knoxville last week. He said his decision was “due to circumstances.”
Even without Ford the Volunteers still have arguably the best crop of defensive line commitments in the country after adding five-star Hillsboro star Kyle Phillips earlier this month.
