Mt. Juliet garage burglary

MT. JULIET, Tenn. (WKRN) – A man was caught on tape stealing items from an open garage at a home in Mt. Juliet.

The crime was captured by the homeowner’s surveillance system in the early morning hours of Jan. 20.

In the clip, the suspect drove by the home in the 200 block of Larson Drive and noticed the open garage door.

He then made a U-turn and entered the garage.

The suspect was seen taking a GPS device from an unlocked van. He also tried to open the doors of another vehicle, but the doors were locked.

He then got in his car and fled the area.

The suspect is described as a white male in his 40s, approximately 5 feet, 10 inches tall with a medium build and balding.

He was wearing a gray, hooded sweatshirt with two lines of writing on the front.
