NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) – Two Tigermarket gas stations were robbed early Tuesday morning within 30 minutes of each other in southern Davidson County.

Police are searching for the suspect who robbed two gas stations early Tuesday morning in south Nashville, taking lottery tickets and cash.

According to police, the first robbery occurred at the store on Murfreesboro Pike at Hickory Woods Drive just after 1 a.m.

A man reportedly walked in with a gun and took lottery tickets and cash.

Then, just before 1:30 a.m. the Tigermarket on Bell Road at Smith Springs Road was also robbed.

Police told News 2 it was the same situation of an armed man walking in and demanding lottery tickets and money.

The suspect was described as a black man, 5 feet 6 inches tall wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, khaki pants and white and black shoes.

No one was injured in either robbery.
