FRANKLIN, Tenn. (WKRN) – A general store in the heart of downtown Franklin will soon be transformed into a juice joint.

The owner of Town’s End General Store at 504 Main Street announced the closing Tuesday.

Cynthia Townsend is closing her store to open her franchise-owned business Jamba Juice.

“I have been working on a downtown Franklin location for over a year and decided the location of my present store will be best due to its location, visibility, and size,” Townsend said in a release.

She added, “It is bittersweet to close the general store because downtown Franklin is the perfect place for an old-fashioned concept with modern merchandise. Hopefully someday another one will open.”

It’ll be the third location for locally-owned Jamba Juice, due to open its doors this spring.
