HARVEST, Ala. (AP) – Madison County sheriff’s officials say a Tennessee man is charged with murder in the death of an Alabama man who was shot with a crossbow.
Sheriff’s spokesman Lt. Michael Salomonsky tells Al.com 25-year-old Troy Wright of Clarksville, Tennessee is charged with murder in the death of 33-year-old Anqualo House.
Authorities have said House was shot at close range with a crossbow and was wounded in his neck. Salomonsky says the man was shot in front of several witnesses in Harvest, Alabama, and Wright was on the scene when deputies arrived early Saturday morning.
Salomonsky has said the shooting stemmed from a domestic dispute, but details on the nature of the dispute weren’t immediately available.
Wright is being held on $75,000 bond and it’s unclear if he has an attorney.
