2 arrested after Ky. pursuit ends in Montgomery County

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Tenn. (WKRN) – Two suspects were arrested Tuesday when a pursuit that began in Oak Grove, Kentucky, ended in Montgomery County.

Oak Grove police began pursuing the men for burglary after shots were fired at officers.

The pursuit ended behind a home on Guthrie Highway just after Midnight, but the two men fled the scene.

One suspect, 24-year-old James Lark of Nashville, was found on Interstate 24 around 5:30 a.m. He was charged with public intoxication in Montgomery County and is awaiting extradition to Oak Grove.

The second suspect, 23-year-old Brandon Lane, was spotted in a field around 11:30 a.m. and taken into custody.

Officers reported Lane was treated at Gateway Medical Center after being outside in the cold temperatures all night and later booked at the Montgomery County jail. He, too, awaits extradition.
