MT. JULIET, Tenn. (WKRN) – A man wanted on 12 warrants was arrested Saturday after a traffic stop in Mt. Juliet.
An officer was patrolling through the Willoughby Station neighborhood when he noticed a car driving on the wrong side of the road directly toward him around 12:30 p.m.
As the officer attempted to stop the driver of the Ford Contour, the vehicle turned around in a home’s yard, nearly striking a stop sign.
The driver, identified as 19-year-old Jamison Emler, eventually stopped.
When the officer ran his information, he learned Emler was wanted on 12 different warrants in Sumner County related to burglary and theft.
He was taken into custody without incident.
Emler reportedly told the officer he was in the neighborhood to pick up a friend.
He was booked into the Wilson County jail where he was being held on the Sumner County charges.
