NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) – A man is facing charges after he pulled a box cutter on an officer while he was being arrested.
According to an affidavit, loss prevention and a Metro officer stopped Eric Gordon at a target in Davidson County early Christmas morning.
As the officer was attempting to handcuff Gordon, 43, he reportedly pulled his hands forward resisting arrest.
Gordon then pulled a box cutter out and opened it. The officer separated from Gordon and demanded that he drop the weapon.
The report states that Gordon followed the officer’s commands before being taken into custody.
He has been charged with theft, resisting arrest and aggravated assault.
Gordon’s bond was set $22,500.
