Meteorologist gunned down outside station says he doesn’t know gunman

BRUCEVILLE-EDDY, Tx. (WKRN) – The investigation continues days after a meteorologist was shot outside of a television station located in Bruceville-Eddy, Texas.

It happened Wednesday afternoon outside of KCEN-TV. Police said the victim, identified as Patrick Crawford, reported he had never seen the gunman before in his life.

ABC News reported the unidentified shooter fled on foot. Crawford was able to drive a short distance in order to get help despite his injuries.

Crawford sustained wounds to his abdomen, shoulder and the back of his head, while his car was struck by at least 11 bullets.

The suspect is described as a white man between the ages of 30 and 35. He has a medium build and a receding hairline.

Crawford was last listed in stable condition, according to a post on his wife’s Facebook page.
