NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) – Former Titan Jovan Haye has developed a new social media app that launched earlier this week.
The app, called Yapped, allows users to upload pictures of their outfit choices, places they may want to go, or other decisions users may be making and want other people’s opinion.
“I’ve been blessed with what football provided but I realized there’s more too,” Haye told News 2. “I realized God works in mysterious ways and throws curve balls and this was my curve ball.”
Yapped gives users real-time data on who voted for what, instead of having to scroll through a ton of responses, like when a person poses a question on other popular social media sites, such as Facebook and Twitter.
“Getting to see who voted for what. Who chose the red shoe over the black shoe. When you go on all the social media sites you just see random questions and you just never get to see live data or real time data for it,” he said.
Haye also played at Vanderbilt University before entering the NFL.
Haye signed a four year deal with the Titans in 2009. He was waived two years later in 2011.
Yapped is free and is available in the Apple store for both iPhones and iPads.
