Tennessee dropped by North Carolina State 83-72

RALEIGH, N.C. (WKRN) – Tennessee had no answer for the Wolfpack backcourt and fell to N.C. State 83-72 Wednesday in Raleigh.

Wolfpack guards Ralston Turner and Trevor Lacey combined for 53 points in the win. Turner hit eight 3-point field goals in the game, finishing with 33 points. North Carolina State (9-2) ripped the Vols from downtown, hitting 11 of 26 3-pointers for the game.

Tennessee (4-4) also shot extremely well from beyond the arch, hitting over 55 percent on 10 of 18 shooting.

Josh Richardson scored 17 points to lead Tennessee. Devon Baulkman added 10 points as the Vols saw their two-game winning streak come to an end.
