NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) – A man was arrested Wednesday for aggravated robbery after he allegedly took a wallet from a woman in a Nashville Target parking lot.
It happened Tuesday at the Target on White Bridge Road around 9 a.m.
Police reported Justin Carder, 26, approached a woman and demanded she hand over her wallet.
Carder allegedly struggled with the victim before he put his hand in his pocket and stated, “I’ve got a knife, I’ll cut you.”
One witness recognized Carder while another provided his vehicle description and license plate number.
Police were able to track the vehicle by its registration back to a relative of Carder and he was further identified by the victim in a photo line-up.
Carder reportedly admitted to the robbery and led police to the dumpster where he tossed the wallet.
He was booked in the Metro jail on a charge of aggravated robbery with a bond of $76,000.
