CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) – A former corporal with the Montgomery County Workhouse was indicted on drug charges by a grand jury Wednesday.
According to a report posted at ClarksvilleNow.com, Theodore Martin Morey was the subject of a weeks-long investigation by a drug task force before he faced indictment by the grand jury.
Morey, 35, of Clarksville, was placed on leave at the beginning of the investigation and terminated in November 2014 when his actions were found to violate the law and MCSO policy.
Morey was booked in the Montgomery County jail on a charge of receipt of a controlled substance with a bond of $2,500.
