SMYRNA, Tenn. (WKRN) – A 38-year-old year old man was killed in a three-vehicle crash Thursday morning in Rutherford County.

The blow caused McGuff’s vehicle to side-swipe the back of a tractor-trailer which then caused his Honda Accord to cross the median and strike a second car head-on.
McGuff, of Nashville, was killed.
The driver of the second car, 51-year-old Thomas Stephenson of Thompson’s Station, was injured. His condition was not immediately known.
No drugs or alcohol were involved in the crash, and no charges were filed.
Both east and westbound lanes were closed to traffic until around 9:40 a.m. as authorities worked the scene.
Further details were not immediately released.
