NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) – Police investigated two different robberies at west Nashville gas stations late Sunday night.
The first happened at the Delta Express on 51st Avenue North around 8 p.m.
Police told News 2 that four black male suspects entered the store and one was armed with a silver handgun.
They reportedly ordered the clerk inside to the ground, went through his pockets and took personal items before making him stand and open the cash register.
The suspects took money and fled when a customer drove into the parking lot.
They were seen leaving in a possible older-white vehicle and going west on Georgia Avenue towards Briley Parkway.
The second robbery happened at the Pilot on Centennial Boulevard near Briley Parkway around 10:45 p.m.
Police said three men wearing masks walked into the store.
Two of the men pointed guns at two clerks and demanded money from two registers.
The employees complied and were not injured during the incident.
The men reportedly fled the scene in a light-colored vehicle with a hatchback and police believe a fourth man may have been driving.
Anyone with information about the robbery should contact police at 615-862-8600 or Crime Stoppers at 615-74-CRIME.
