Christmas light show in Coffee County draws crowd

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) – A family in Coffee County has transformed their home and yard into a huge Christmas light show.

Kenny and Jeannette Delaney put on the show every year at their home on Old Airport Road in Hillsboro, which is about 71 miles south of Nashville.

Their light display features 60,000 lights that are synchronized to music.

The Delaney family is accepting donations at the show and giving them to local charities.

Neighbors tune their radios to a specific station and listen to the music in their cars as they drive by.

Kenny Delaney usually ends up directing traffic because so many people drive by to watch.

The light show plays Sunday through Thursday from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m., and Friday through Saturday from 5p.m. to 11 p.m.

The Delaneys’ accept donations and give the money to local charities.
