A Murfreesboro man returned home Wednesday afternoon to find a burglar had not only stolen his video games and consoles, but also cooked a meal.
The victim, who lives on Riviera Drive, told police the burglary happened sometime while he was gone between 8 a.m. and 2 p.m.
The suspect gained entry to his home by throwing a rock through the window and reaching through to open the door.
At one point, the victim cooked himself some eggs and hot dogs, as well as ate some potato chips.
When he eventually left, he stole a television, PlayStation 3, Nintendo and wedding ring, along with several video games and DVDs.
Murfreesboro police believe it is related to a similar burglary on the same street. In that case, the suspect broke inside and cooked himself a pizza.
They have a possible suspect, but an arrest has yet to be made.
