Five people were taken into custody Wednesday when they were caught burglarizing a vacant home in north Nashville.
Police received a call that five black males were seen breaking into the rear door of a residence on Village Trail
Once police arrived, three juvenile suspects were taken into custody as they attempted to flee from the home.

Police reported Eric Blivens, 18, possessed a small amount of marijuana on his person at the time of his arrest. A revolver was found in the room where he and the juvenile accomplice were hiding.
While police were processing the scene, officers were dispatched to a neighbor’s home on Moorewood Court who reported items had been taken and its door had been kicked in.
The items stolen from the neighboring home, a PlayStation 3, Samsung tablet and GPS system, were found inside the residence where the men were arrested.
