Najahe Sherman is a news anchor and reporter at WKRN-TV. She anchors News 2 at 5 p.m. and 10 p.m. on weekends and reports for the evening and nightly news during the week.
Najahe has more than 10 years of newsroom experience. Prior to joining the News 2 team, Najahe worked as a news anchor, reporter and multimedia journalist in Missouri, Louisiana, Wyoming and Iowa.
Najahe graduated from the William Allen White School of Journalism & Mass Communications at the University of Kansas.
Najahe is an active community volunteer. She enjoys volunteering with various non-profit organizations in Middle Tennessee.
Najahe served as a youth mentor for the Big Brothers Big Sisters Organization and volunteered at Boys and Girls Clubs in Louisiana. She is also a former NFL Kansas City Chiefs Cheerleader and former Mrs. Louisiana America.
When Najahe is not working she enjoys traveling, practicing yoga, and spending time with her family. Najahe and her husband are the proud parents of a beautiful baby girl and two Yorkshire Terriers.
