Najahe Sherman joined WKRN News 2 in 2013 as a news anchor and reporter.
Prior to joining the News 2 team, Najahe worked as a news anchor, reporter and multimedia journalist in Missouri, Louisiana, Wyoming and Iowa. Najahe graduated from the William Allen White School of Journalism & Mass Communications at the University of Kansas.
Najahe is an active community volunteer. She enjoys volunteering with various non-profit organizations in Middle Tennessee. Najahe served as a youth mentor for the Big Brothers Big Sisters Organization and volunteered at Boys and Girls Clubs in Louisiana.
In 2015, Najahe was voted one of “Nashville’s 25 Most Beautiful People” by Nashville Lifestyles Magazine, alongside country star Jake Owen, country music artist and television personality Kellie Pickler and Chris Carmack, of the television show “Nashville.”
“These are people who live, work and play in Nashville, and we’re proud to feature this year’s ‘25 Most Beautiful People,’ who all are beautiful inside and out,” said Brian Barry, publisher of Nashville Lifestyles.
Najahe is also a former NFL Kansas City Chiefs Cheerleader and former Mrs. Louisiana America.
When Najahe is not working, she enjoys traveling, practicing yoga, and spending time with her family.
Najahe and her husband are the proud parents of a beautiful baby girl and two Yorkshire Terriers.
