Lisa Patton is a native of Mt. Juliet, Tennessee. She serves as the weathercaster on News 2 at 4, 4:30, 5, 6 & 10 p.m.
Lisa has been tracking dangerous weather and helping to keep our neighbors across middle Tennessee and south central Kentucky safe with News 2’s StormTracker for many years.
Lisa attended the University of Tennessee in Knoxville and graduated with a degree in Communications. In 1982, she started her broadcasting career as a radio disc jockey and later as a weathercaster in Knoxville. She spent four years at WTVD-TV in the Raleigh/Durham/Chapel Hill, North Carolina television market before joining News 2 in July of 1991.
Lisa is the one of few television weathercasters in Nashville who was born and raised in Tennessee giving her the tremendous advantage of working in front of her hometown audience. She is recognized as one of Middle Tennessee’s most trusted and reliable weathercasters.
Lisa spent her childhood in Mt. Juliet and is a graduate of Mt. Juliet High School. She met her husband while working in North Carolina. They both cherish the oppportunity to raise their two daughters and one son here in middle Tennessee.
