TRIGG COUNTY, Ky. – The lone survivor in a Kentucky shooting that occurred last weekend is now charged in connection to the crime.
Ryan Champion is charged in the deaths of his parents and sister. He is also charged with the death of Vito Riservato, who was originally believed to have been the gunman.
B. Lindsey and his wife Joy Champion, along with their daughter Emily, were found dead Sunday inside a home on Old Dover Road in Cadiz, Kentucky, about 90 miles northwest of Nashville.
Prior to being charged in connection to the shooting, police said Ryan Champion had witnessed the deadly attack.
He is charged with four counts of capital murder and one count of capital kidnapping.
A funeral service will be held for the family at 1 p.m. Sunday in the gym of Trigg County High School.
The investigation is ongoing.
