A man was arrested Thursday for felony arson after he allegedly set a vacant building on fire in Old Hickory earlier this month.
An investigation determined the fire, which occurred Oct. 8 at 401 Rayon Dr. in Old Hickory, to be intentionally set.
Police reported Dustin Johnson, 41, was seen by a witness at the property twice on the day the fire, minutes before it was discovered.
According to an affidavit, the witness described Johnson in detail and identified him as the person seen near the building.
Johnson was booked into the Metro jail on a charge of felony arson with a bond of $40,000.
