Tennessee Titans quarterback Jake Locker isn’t expected to play Sunday against the Jacksonville Jaguars, multiple sources are reporting Friday.

Locker left last week’s game early after injuring his right thumb and hasn’t practiced all week.

Locker is officially listed as questionable for Sunday’s game meaning he has not yet been ruled out.

Should Locker not play, backup Charlie Whitehurst will get the start for Tennessee.

Whitehurst threw two touchdown passes to give Tennessee the 28-3 lead at halftime but couldn’t hold off the Browns in the second half and Cleveland went on to defeat the Titans 29-28.

Whitehurst started the Titans’ Sept. 28 game against the Colts when Locker sat out because of a wrist injury in week 3 in Cincinnati.
