The Nashville Sounds unveiled a new logo Thursday morning that pays homage to Music City heritage.
The new logo, which is burnt orange, tan, neon orange and black, features a guitar pick with the letter “N” prominently displayed.
“With this new logo scheme, we wanted to capture the vibrant nature of the city, of downtown Nashville,” explained Sounds assistant general manager Brandon Yerger.
The new Sounds logo was created by Brandoise, a San Diego company, and is the result of an 11 month creative process.
The Sounds will unveil the entirety of their new logo scheme, as well as their new uniforms, which include a pair of unique alternate options, at an exclusive season ticket holder event in November.
The Nashville Sounds will open their 2015 season at their new multi-million dollar stadium at First Tennessee Park, the former Sulper Dell location.
