A 24-year-old man was killed in a shooting in north Nashville Thursday night.
It happened around 7:20 p.m. in the 2100 block of 14th Avenue North.
The victim, Reginald Osborne Jr., was transported to Vanderbilt University Medical Center he was pronounced dead.
Police said Osborne, of Madison, was found lying on the ground next to a silver minivan.
Both Osborne and the vehicle had been shot.
Detectives are investigating whether cocaine found on Osborne’s person is related to the murder, and whether there is any connection to a June incident in which Osborne was alleged to have shot a man during an argument. Osborne was free on $50,000 bond in that case.
