After being limited in practice last week and sitting out Sunday’s game with the Colts because of a wrist injury, Titans quarterback Jake Locker fully participated in practice Wednesday.
Locker was on the field stretching while the team participated in drills with the other quarterbacks.
It’s still uncertain whether or not he’ll be ready to play, but head coach Ken Whisenhunt said Locker looked good after Wednesday’s practice and they’ll wait to see how he does Thursday.
“It’s always good to have the quarterback return, but we’ll see how it feels tomorrow. That’s the key; I mean that’s what we’ve been consistent in saying all along,” Whisenhunt explained. “He did a lot today and if it responds the way we think it’s going to then you know everything is good.”
As for Locker, he said he is feeling a lot better and that he’s happy he got just the chance to practice with his teammates again.
“It’s hard to have to sit and watch games, you never want to do it, so just to have the opportunity to be competing with the guys that you work with day in and day out is exciting.”
