A domestic assault call turned into a standoff in Rutherford County Sunday morning.
Smyrna police told News 2 they responded to a home Friar Tuck Road around 7:30 a.m. about a domestic situation.
Once they got there, suspect Jeffery Hosea fled to the nearby Nashville I-24 Campground.
A standoff then ensued with authorities as Hosea holed up inside a trailer. SWAT teams were called to the scene.
Hosea, 51, ultimately surrendered around 10 a.m.
Authorities then discovered multiple guns inside the trailer along with ammunition inside.
Hosea was charged with two counts of domestic assault, among other charges.
