Columbia police are investigating an online sexual exploitation case involving five underage girls.
Authorities said the site, which was called “931 Hoes,” showed pictures of the girls in a sexual nature. Many of the victims were Columbia Central High School students.
Columbia officials started an investigation along with the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation after parents and friends alerted them about the site.
A 15-year-old male student from Columbia Central High School has been charged with exploitation of a minor for his alleged role in the crime.
Officials believe he is solely responsible for getting the site up and running.
A school resource officer in Marshall County is being investigated after his address came up in the list of IP addresses associated with the site.
The officer has been placed on leave, but no charges have been filed.
