Hundreds of soldiers returned to Fort Campbell Sunday after a nine-month deployment to Afghanistan.
Over 237 soldiers with the 159th Combat Aviation Brigade were reunited with their friends, families and comrades at the Welcome Home Ceremony, Clarksville Now reports.
The crowd cheered as the stepped off the airplane and again as they marched into the hangar at Campbell Army Airfield.
Each soldier also carried a yellow rose to give to their loved ones.
Even more soldiers are expected to arrive Monday as the 159th wraps up their deployment.
