Fire investigators believe a lightning strike is the cause of a fire that left two families homeless Saturday night in Greenbrier.
Smokey Barn News reports the fire began about 7:30 p.m. in the 5000 block of Fisher Grove Road.
Fire crews from White House, Pleasant View, Greenbrier and Ridgetop all responded to the blaze, along with Robertson County emergency assistance.
The upper floor of the split-level home was heavily damaged, rendering the home inhabitable.
Two families were living inside including three children and two pregnant women.
No one was injured in the fire.
