A man was arrested early Friday morning after police say he fired six shots out his car window moments after threatening a family at a home.

Police in the Priest Lake area finally caught up to Hubert Rucker at a gas station on Smith Springs Road.

A woman who knows Rucker said he showed up to her home intoxicated and armed with a gun. He threatened her before leaving, according to an affidavit.

A few minutes later, police started getting calls about shots fired.

At that gas station, Rucker admitted to police he fired six shots out of his car window. Police found a pistol in the trunk.

Rucker, 44, is charged with aggravated assault, reckless endangerment, illegal possession of a weapon and DUI.

He was booked into the Metro jail on $35,000 bond.
