Country star Alan Jackson is celebrating 25 years in the industry with an exhibit at The Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum.
“Alan Jackson: 25 Years of Keepin’ It Country” opens this weekend, but Nashville’s News 2 has a sneak peek. Jackson and his wife Denise welcomed media to check out the exhibit early.
Among the artifacts featured are items from some of Jackson’s milestone music videos, album covers, award show appearances, industry accolades, personal items from his home and the first car he ever bought at 15 years old, a 1955 Ford Thunderbird.
The convertible will be on display in the museum’s Curb Conservatory for opening weekend.
Jackson will also take the stage in the museum’s new 800-seat CMA Theater as its 2014 Artist-in-Residence on October 8 and 22.
Both Wednesday night concerts start at 7 p.m. Tickets go on sale at Noon on Monday, September 8. Click here to purchase tickets.
