Clarksville woman who falsified rape fantasized about it, report says

CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) – A Clarksville woman arrested Friday for claiming she was raped in a city park when she wasn’t reportedly wanted to be sexually assaulted and even solicited for someone to rape her online.

According to a report on ClarksvilleNow.com, Kayla Bowen fantasized about being raped and even posted an ad on Craigslist.

Bowen also sent text messages saying she wanted to be duct-taped, gagged and sexually assaulted, the website reported.

Bowen, 24, told police she was sitting in her vehicle at Dunbar Cave State Park during the early morning hours of August 5 when a man asked her for a lighter and then attacked her.

She told police she was pulled out of her vehicle by her hair, blindfolded and then raped at gunpoint.

She later reported the fake incident, telling police she managed to escape.

Bowen was arrested and charged with filing a false report Friday. She was booked into the Montgomery County jail on $50,000 bond.
