Coty Sensabaugh was not happy about his performance against New Orleans. The third year cornerback allowed four receptions in five targets and surrendered 125 receiving yards in the Titans 31-24 loss to the Saints.
“To be honest, this was probably the toughest game I’ve had since being in the league,” says Sensabaugh. “I just couldn’t get the tide to turn this past week no matter what. I get another opportunity this week to go against some top guys so I’m really excited about that.”
The competition at cornerback between Sensabaugh and Blidi Wreh-Wilson has been one of the hot topics of the off season. Head Coach Ken Whisenhunt says Friday’s game doesn’t play a major factor in his decision.
“You don’t make assessments based off of one game,” says Whisenhunt.
Sensabaugh has the chance to redeem himself on Saturday when the Titans play the Falcons on the road in Atlanta.
“This is really the most adversity I’ve dealt with so It will be interesting to see how I bounce back.”
