A dashcam captured a truck driver’s heroic actions as he rushed to save a woman and her baby from a fiery crash in Mississippi.

Driver David Frederickson was traveling on Interstate 10 in Biloxi when he and his co-worker approached the crash, ABC 6 reported.

Frederickson grabbed a fire extinguisher and ran to the car which was engulfed in flames.

Other passing motorist quickly stopped to help Frederickson rescue the woman and her one-year-old child.

The woman suffered a broken leg. The baby only sustained minor injuries.

Frederickson’s son posted the heroic video on YouTube writing, “Thankfully my father had the presence of mind, bravery and forethought of carrying a fire extinguisher, to be the first person on the scene to risk his own life in order to possibly save another and to inspire others and lead them into taking action. Everyone involved in the rescue effort is a hero in my books.”

The vehicle’s doors became jammed preventing the woman to escape the burning vehicle.
