South Nashville has ended their run in the Little League World Series.

Trailing by three runs in the sixth inning, South Nashville had it’s most clutch performance yet.

After a two out double by Barrett Smith that cut the Rhode Island lead to just one, Robert Hassell belted a 2 run homer to put South Nashville up 6-5.

They added to the lead when Sam Slaughter followed the Hassell homer with one of his own, giving South Nashville a two run cushion headed into the final inning.

But it was all for not as Rhode Island had a walk-off double in the bottom of the 6th to beat South Nashville 8-7 and end their tournament run.
