Police arrested a member of a New York band in Nashville Tuesday night who was wanted in connection to a 2013 crime.

Joel Thompson was wanted by authorities for a felony theft that occurred at the Walmart in Franklin.

Police said the 25-year-old shoplifted more than $4,000 in cords and adapters for electronics.

A warrant was obtained for Thompson’s arrest in March.

He was taken into custody after police discovered he would be performing at The End on Elliston Place Tuesday night.

Thompson is being held in the Williamson County jail on a $25,000 bond. He is also wanted by authorities in Maury, Henry and Cheatham counties on additional charges.

He is scheduled to appear in court August 21.
