A woman in her 70s was taken to the hospital following a crash early Wednesday morning in the Green Hills area.
Police said the woman was traveling on Granny White Pike when she collided with another car at the intersection of Harding Place.
Investigators said the woman had a red blinking light. It is unclear if she stopped or if she ran the red light.
The male driver of the other car was traveling toward Harding Place on Battery Lane. Battery Lane becomes Harding Place after Granny White Pike. He was uninjured.
The woman was complaining of chest pain following the wreck and taken to the hospital.
Traffic was slow in the area while police cleared the scene.
