The Tennessee Titans sent an embarrassing message to second year receiver Justin Hunter Monday.
The team replaced his name on the back of his practice jersey with “JAG,” short for “Just Another Guy.”
Receiver coach Shawn Jefferson wants precision from Hunter and the former Volunteer star indicated he did not do a route correctly in practice.
Hunter says he is getting plenty of grief about it, but it will come off if he performs well in practice.
Hunter was targeted twice in the Titans 20-16 win over the Packers Saturday night catching one pass for only five yards.
He’s coming off of a rookie season that saw him catch 18 passes for 354 yards and four TD’s.
