A Walmart in Tullahoma was evacuated for a few hours Saturday after a suspicious device was found.
Officials were called to the store at 2111 North Jackson Street around 3 p.m. after maintenance workers found the device.
Authorities said it looked like it was explosive with pliers and batteries attached, but it wasn’t actually explosive.
The bomb squad was called to the scene investigate and the store was evacuated.
It was 6:30 p.m. before the store reopened.
Police will continue to investigate to determine who left the suspicious device.
