Metro police have identified the gunman wanted following a shooting last month outside a popular Church Street nightclub.
Three people were injured in the July 18 shooting outside WKND.
Parolee Lazarus Payton has been identified the gunman and arrest warrants charging him with two counts of attempted murder, aggravated assault and felony vandalism have been issued.
Police said Payton, 31, returned to the club 15 minutes after he was kicked out and opened fire.
A man working in a security capacity for a valet service was critically wounded. One woman received a non-critical wound to her leg. Another man received a minor graze wound to his foot.
Payton was convicted of aggravated assault, felony reckless endangerment, felony evading and unlawful gun possession in February 2007 and was sentenced to 12 years.
He registered with Metro police as an ex-con in February of this year.
