Wagoner, OK – A new school teacher is missing her first week on the job, after police say she showed up drunk to school.
Lorie Hill was arrested Monday, the first day back at school for teachers at Wagoner High School in Oklahoma.
Police say two other teachers found her in a classroom, intoxicated and not wearing any pants. “When our officers interviewed her she did admit to having some vodka yesterday morning before she came to school,” said Chief Bob Haley with Wagoner, Oklahoma Police.
Hill is facing a public intoxication charge. The Wagoner School District told a local TV station it does not usually comment on personnel matters.
